Welcome to GCNaz Student Ministry

GCNaz Students is focused on equipping students to be able to thrive in the world around them by giving them a Biblical foundation and world view to use as their guide. We believe that this is achieved through learning about the Bible, having a personal relationship with Jesus, and being connected with not only our youth group but with the church as a whole. Through these steps we want to see disciples that are excited to tell others about what God is doing in their lives and become disciples that make other disciples.

Our Main Events Each Year

Breakaway

This event is our Fall retreat. It takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving. Breakaway is designed to give the students time and space away from their normal lives and reconnect with God for a brief weekend before the busyness of the holiday season takes hold.

GWDNOW

GWDNOW stands for Greenwood Discipleship Now. It is a local conference that takes place in here in Greenwood and is run by local youth pastors and leaders for students in the area. It is a weekend event in March that tailors the topics and breakout sessions for the needs of our students.

Teen and Pre-Teen Camps

The summer camps that we attend are staples for our events in the Summer. They help our students learn and grown in Christ with a week long trip to Gunter Camp and Conference center where we worship and learn with other Nazarene youth groups from around South Carolina while also having a lot of fun in the process.
